Nine years old...

Eleven years old ... this blog is, today.  It's our “bloggiversary”!  Eleven years and 12,781 posts (including this one).  I didn't set out to write such a huge amount of stuff, but somehow it happened.  That's about 3.2 posts per day for that entire period!

There's a chocolate cake in the oven right now, and later today we're making chicken and dumplings.  Somehow this seems very appropriate :)
