Clarksville, Arkansas... That's where I am tonight. I just got back from a satisfying dinner at an Italian restaurant right next to my motel (at right). Some photos from the (long, mostly boring) day. In order: (1) one of a bazillion wind generators in Texas, none of which were running; (2) a gigantic steel cross next to a church -- in Texas, of course; (3) an Oklahoma stretch of I-40, and (4) a lake in Oklahoma...
I noticed, going through the pass near palm springs, that quite often the vast majority of the wind generators aren't moving. I always thought that odd.
