More rain than expected...

More rain than expected ... and nobody is complaining!  We got 0.7" inch since yesterday, bringing the storm total up to just over 1.5".  Yay!  Better yet – NOAA has upped the forecast, showing another 0.4" today and 0.65" tomorrow.  We may end up with almost 3" from this storm.  Yesterday there was an enormous storm cell that hit us from the southeast, after it very slowly passed over the mountains that drain into Porcupine Reservoir – the source of our local irrigation water.  It's all good news!
