Israel no longer has a water shortage... You'd think their Arab neighbors would wake up some day, and realize that if the Israelis can do it, so could they – if they would just stop with the jihad crapola...
The problem with such an endeavor here, is that environmentalists would balk at building the power plants necessary to power the desalination plant and then freak out over the change in salinity from the discharge back into the ocean and its potential impact on local sea life. of course, they will all still host elaborate parties on their well watered grass and to toast their own magnificence with expensive wine made from well watered grapes.
