What He Said...
Yesterday I watched with dismay and disgust Obama's comments dismissing the achievements of entrepreneurs. Today I read about Paul Ryan's reaction, including this excerpt:

What I find is also antithetical to the American dream and something that very few know the magnitude of is how much of our economy derives it's funding from the government in the form of no bid contracts (private companies with the military), tax credits and subsidies (oil, gas, agriculture), cheap educational loans (private for profit schools) just to name a few.
ReplyDeleteClearly this largess goes mostly to big corporations. If taken into consideration, it changes the fundamental economic assumptions of how our economy runs, who really pays and who ultimately profits. Why no one is up in arms about this form of subversion on free communities is beyond me.
