So you buy a 500GB hard disk for an incredibly low price. The salesman demonstrated it to you in the store, saving a file to it – so you know it works. Then you bring it home and discover that you can't save any large files. What's going on?
The hard disk is a fake. It's just a 128MB flash disk mounted inside a false hard disk case (click to enlarge photo at right). That's just 1/40th the size you thought you bought.
This is really happening...
