On TV today a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama holds a rally 25-30,000 people show up, whereas when McCain holds one he only draws 10-15,000.
The Republican spokesman replied, “That's because McCain's supporters are at work.”
No . we Obamans are normally at work, and took aprecious "one of 10 days off we can take to be there.
The McCain people are occupied somewhere trying to rationalize the status quo, even as it and John's campaign would financially hurt all but the top 1 percent or so of income "earners".
Most of my fellow
republicanss have come to identify with those who use emotionaly charged issues to get the majority or near majority to vote against their own self interst, and MUCH more importantly, the well-being of the overall population.
