Today I turned on the heater in our house, for the first time this season. I was sitting in our livingroom, trying to type on my laptop, when it dawned on me that my fingers were stiff from cold – it was 52°F in the house!You can see from the red temperature line on the graph at right that the temperature has been dropping for the past few days. Last night it got below 45°F for the first time this season, which explains the chilly house.
Tomorrow, sadly, the forecast calls for Santa Ana winds. Not only will that bring wind, but also heat and dry air – and fire danger conditions…
