As I followed my usual routine this morning, reading the news on my computer, I happened to glance out my office window (which faces north). I’m so glad I did…because brushstrokes of fire, set on a dark purple-blue background, framed by the silouhettes of our local mountains, covered about 90 degrees of the sky. A gorgeous new moon smiled at the fiery sunrise from a perch in the black night sky.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
And a minute later, it was gone…
